Knots, pins, cracks in lams for glass bows
« on: September 10, 2007, 04:57:00 PM »
I built a lam grinding jig this weekend with some great advice from kennym and a link to Sam Harper's webpage (awesome).

Now I'm looking at all kinds of wood in my shop and wondering...

Because the lams will be sandwiched between glass how big a deal is it if there are small knots, pin knots, or cracks in the laminations?  Doesn't seem like it would make that much of a difference, but what do I know?

Thanks,

Stan
