time to retire
« on: November 09, 2013, 11:39:00 AM »
Back in 03 I was playing at a lot of archery events and making a lot of friends. I decided to try my hand at making a video. So I did.
Today I make my living with music and video production. I am a producer of an outdoors show called the Smoky Mountain Outdoorsman. Today when I watch that early video I can't help but laugh at the quality. All I had was a commercial grade camera and it shows. Yet the content is priceless. I had the chance to sit down with many of the legends of trad archery and video their heartfelt take on a sport I love. I have decided to retire that video, "Keepers of the Sylvan Flame" at the end of the year. If you have one hang on to it! I believe that it will become a collectable just because of the interview I did with Charlie Kroll.
Others on the video are G. Fred, Ron LaClair, Larry D. Jones, and T.J Conrads. No the quality wasn't there in 03 but the "Sylvan Magic was. It will be available until the end of the year at BW.
Thanks and see you on down the trail......Jim Bowman

How about a link to where we can purchase the video?
Plant a fruit or nut tree today, and have good hunting tomorrow.

So Jim you are retiring? Sad to hear it, but I'm happy for you. We have met a few times at Compton. I always enjoyed your wholesome entertainment.

Thanks

Roger

Ohhhh...I misunderstood. The Church service at Compton isn't the same without your guitar!
