Best $15 I've Spent For A Treestand Accessory
« on: November 12, 2013, 09:37:00 AM »
I recently ordered a pair of treestand stablizer straps from Third Hand Archery for use with my new to me Timbertall treestand.  It's the best $15 I've ever spent for a treestand accessory.  The straps when installed and deployed makes the Timbertall climber rock solid and as stable as can be.  If you use a climber, I recommend the treestand stablizer straps from Third Hand Archery!

Another option is the lonewolf stabalizer straps they are really nice and a little cheaper.

Stabilizer straps came on my new Ol'man climber and they are a nice feature, once they are clipped your stand isn't going anywhere. rock solid.
An archer tries to find ways to shoot further more accurately, a bowhunter tries to get as close as possible to ensure his shot is accurate.

As long as I've been using climbers (long as they've been made) I've always cinched the sections together. I used small dia. rope and just looped around the top and back through the second loop, then cinch down tight.

First I saw that came with the straps was Lone Wolf, bunch of them do now.

Also use a small dia. rope for a foot rest.
