Opening day of gun season in NY

Nice going Glen. I'm heading up to an Archery only state park this coming Thurs/Fri/Sat. I like the fact there is no pressure inside the park and hoping all the commotion outside brings them in to hide...LOL...again...nice deer.

Hey, a thought... You should look into processing in the field. It never even occurred to me until I moved out west. Then I wondered why I ever dragged an entire deer around.

Paul,next weekend I will be packing some cotton pillow cases that will be stolen from our linen closet. I ran into dozens of hikers on the way down and only two showed displeasure. I wished them a good day and continued on my way. Will be doing some field butchering next time. Lesson learned
