5 days if I'm lucky, still need to pay bills so work is priority number 1, kids activities number 2 and house work number 3. Can't do full days either and even when I hunt I still have to answer emails on my phone.

Being self employed I shut my business down for the month of November.   Have to work my tail off the other 11 months to make this happen.  I manage  12 to 15 days in addition for scouting.

Season started Oct 1st.   I've been out 56 days since then.  Work 40 hour weeks as well.  Just make it a point to go out every night after work that I can.

I hunt when I can.  I seldom hunt where I really want.

My wife and I share a vehicle. Even if I take off of work, I still have to drive her to work.  If I do that I would have to get to my stand about 10 AM and then be out again by 2 PM.  Not the best system but.....

I stil have managed to log about 100 hours in the woods this fall.  The down fall is in less than Ideal places.  so far No deer killed. Very few seen in the last month. But for right now, I will take what I can get.

I got out more than usual this year thanks to the government shutdown.

I looked in to things like this from hunter surveys about 10 years ago. The average hunting trips per bowhunter was 23.

Until last year I would usually get in 25-30 hunts per season (season is more than 120 days).  Last year only 7. This year I'm at 15 so far. I quit at 7 last year because I had two deer with my curve and wanted no more. This year I have only one Doe so far and still have my antlered tag.

I took quite a few days off during the rifle season here. It ended this past Sunday and I'll be going out again soon.

As many here who are their own boss know, the work doesn't get done while I'm in my trees. Bow hunting has always been a very high priority in my life and my wife of 35 years knows it is a big part of what makes me right with the world.

30 to 40 days fall season Sept 1 to Jan 1 - most either am or pm I am getting too old to do both.
That is mostly deer w a little hog or bear opportunity. Grab days or groups pf days as I can winter hogs - then spring turkey sometimes w hogs then stingrays we have this down to just a couple a trips a year now was crazy 5 months wide open when we developed it. We fish just a few days a year but when we do it is epic.

16 days so far since Oct 1.  That is with some vacation days.  I can't hunt close to home this year so all my days are full days.  I have missed some time out because of having to be home for part of a day or day and haven't been able to justify the travel expense for a half day hunt.  I had a lot of warm, wind, and rain those days.  I went, but it was real slow and I was not able to get out parts of those  days.

I used to have a little spot behind where I worked, and one not to far from there near my home. I also had flex hours so at one time I used to get out at least part of 30 days by now

I have not been out this year, and it seems that the last few years I'll get out 5-6 times.  With young ones at the house it can be tough to get out.  We also just started a new business the first week of October, which is for sure the wrong time of year if you plan on deer hunting!

My idiot supervisor screwed me out of taking my vacation during the hunting season this year. I have managed to take two Saturday hunts this year.

No, I'm not bitter. Just royally whizzed.

I only hunted Saturdays and Sundays. I did have off for Columbus Day and I took a personal day to get some extra time in the woods.

For fall deer hunting I got out 3-4 evenings per week after work plus Saturdays. I work 2.5 miles from home and can be in the woods behind the house in 15 minutes after I leave the office.

I do the same all summer during groundhog season.

I probably hunt roughly 30 days a season.

I was only counting deer hunting.  I'm also an avid squirrel hunter and spring turkey hunter. Those days are unto themselves.

I've recently started bowhunting again after almost a 30 year hiatus.  I get 6 weeks vacation a year, but need to balance that time among family obligations, as well as being an avid dog trainer / upland bird hunter and participating in the traditional PA rifle opener as well.  All together, about 14 days of bow hunting, including turkey and small game.  This winter, I'll be taking my bow along on late season pheasant hunts with my dogs, so that will add another 10 days of short (2-3 hour) hunts.  I rarely get out full days for anything, but cherish every opportunity I have for any hunting.  Deer hunting isn't over yet, and I'm already thinking about spring turkey!!!

This year I've been out hunting 6 full days and that was on my Wyoming Antelope hunt, in which I was unsuccessful.  I hope to make it out for 3 - 4 days before deer season ends but the time is getting short.

Last year I didn't get to hunt at all.  And in 2011 I spent 10 days afield.

It's hard to make it happen sometimes but I do my best to get out.
