A friend of mine wanted a yellow and black bow to match the fletching he always uses on his arrows. Here is the final product.
I used yellowheart instead of osage in an effort to keep the yellow color.
Yellowheart and african blackwood with a bloodwood stripe flanked with grey actionwood. I did a buck print inlay with bloodwood. the limb veneers are flatgrain osage actionwood. It almost resembles bamboo where the grains are visible.
