Asbell's Evening Stand Brown in the woods
« on: December 07, 2013, 12:07:00 PM »
As a wool junky I wanted to try ESB to go along with my collection. I've bought several pieces from the Asbell's but ordered this one through Roger Norris. Roger was as much a pleasure to work with as Teresa. I finally got in the woods with it this morning.

I busted 2 deer out from under my stand right at daylight, of all days to be late......    :(       :banghead:

Lookin good there bud. Does your collection include Timber Ghost ? Sure do love ours ! Invisible up a white oak against the sky. Had several deer look right thru me this year, had no clue I was around and one was even above me on a side hill. Asbell wool is da bomb !!!   :coffee:

ESB is pretty invisible in the woods. Yep, I'm in there.

But I think I like Timber Ghost even better. Choices, choices.

Great pictures! One hidden benefit of ESB....get a little deer blood on it and it blends right in!   :biglaugh:

Marc B,
I am going to have to disagree with you that Roger is as pleasant to deal with as Mrs Teresa. I find him stringy, of high cholesterol with an Irish whiskey aftertaste. Lol. Just kidding! Roger is awesome and so are the Asbells!
ESB is great! I had on her Silent Stalker green a couple weeks back, on the ground,  and had a doe checking me out so close I could have wacked her with the end of my longbow. She never did spook, eventually meandered away with her yearling.

Ohio woods too Roger! Had a mature buck look right thru me twice and never suspected a thing. It's a great pattern and color tones.
