See if you can get Doc's email, he is the Pres. of T.A.N.J. ( Traditional Archers of N.J. ) He'll know what you need.

You may have to go with an aluminum insert just a bit bigger.  A friend of mine screws a field point in the insert and chucks the field point up in his drill, leaving the insert sticking out.  He turns on the drill and holds a file to the insert(or sandpaper) to get the insert down to the size he needs. I am thinking maybe an 1816 insert would be about right.

thanks to both of you, 1816 seems small for these, 18  is skinnier than a 19 and so on.. could you mean 2016?

I can check with Doc to be sure but Pickngrin knows the trick.

thanks T

I think a 2016 or 2018 would be in the ballpark... a 2020 insert fits in a #7 perfectly...

Send me an e-mail to [email protected] and I will attach a form I have of all the aluminum ID/OD measurements and then you can cross reference it by measuring the ID of your shafts.
They'll be no quitters till we bag us some critters!

I installed 2016 inserts in my #8 Microflights. They are a hair undersize but work fine and are the closest size available.

I did not install broadheads on mine. I installed them with melt-on glue with the field point screwed in and spun them on rollers to adjust for alignment while still warm. No adjustment was needed as was verified with an indicator afterwards. The concentricity of the point to the shaft is within a few thousands and the arrow flight is great with my 50 lb. LB
