Bear Weatherest or Hoyt Super rest ?

Hey Guys
Looking to put a elevated rest on a Recurve for better arrow flight.Is one better than the other and if so why ?

I have used both......both work well. I would get which ever is cheaper,,,,lol!

Weatherest.My dad had one on his bow for about 10 years! Can't wear that thing out!

I've used both, and prefer the Hoyt Super rest. It might look flimsy, but have never broken one yet. But either one will do the job.

In frigid conditions the Bear is not as brittle. I think the Hoyt works better in less than frigid conditions, my wife's recurve had one on it for years until the sticky stuff let loose, then she went to a verticle feather rest.  She liked that better.

Performance wise, they both improve arrow flight. I'd say if you are shooting with a plunger then use the Hoyt. If not use the Bear.

I have used both and prefer the weather rest, I have had the Hoyt sqweek in really cold weather.
Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good
