Perfect evening
« on: December 19, 2013, 08:26:00 PM »
I slipped into a stand that favored the SE wind we had tonite.

I could feel the stress slip away almost as soon as I strapped in.

By dark I'd seen a P&Y fox squirrel , a few others and a doe and fawn that as usual came across behind me where I couldn't really shoot.

But it refreshes the soul to be out and enjoy the relative quiet of a deer stand....
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Should have shot the squirrel.  Then you could have jumped out of your stand and chased it all around the timber dragging your arrow while you tried to get a boot on him.  Then your memory of why you don't shoot squirrels from treestands would be "refreshed" along with your soul!

I'll be ordering some product from you sometime afer the holidays.  Merry Christmas Kenny!

The last part of my last post sounded like a drug deal in progress!  Let me clarify, I'll need glass and glue!   :)

Hmmm P&Y Fox Squirrel.  Just got me thinking, I wonder what ya measure on a fox squirrel to determine that designation.  Skull size or ______ ?
