Off to the elk woods
« on: September 13, 2007, 11:03:00 AM »
Well boys and girls, another year has passed, and I am off to my elk woods, those deep dark patches of timber broken up by golden aspens and meadows filled with green grass and sage.... the smell of dust, the feel of sore legs, the long off bugle of a bull elk, .... I am literally shaking with excitement!  I will be joined by a couple other trad gang members for a week of adventure.  Many pictures and stories to follow when I get back...

Looking forward to the report when you get back . Hope you take lots of pics including some with recently deceased elk in them!!! Good luck to you and the rest of the T Gangers!!!!
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

Those poor unsuspecting elk...they don't know what they are in for! Go get 'em! Have a great hunt. Looks like beautiful country.
