Sehnenbrett Flemish Jig Board?
« on: January 02, 2014, 10:39:00 PM »
Recently purchased a Flemish Jig string Board from Lancaster, when I received the Jig all instructions are in German! Hmmm. Well no problem there I did some research on how to make Flemish twist strings and successfully made my first one last night, actually very surprised on how well it came out, with the exception of it being to long by 2". Here is the problem I know most boards are made using Bow length as where to put your peg, however this board has 2 sets of numbers, one on the side and the ones in the center, anyone out there have directions or the layout of this board. I know I can figure it out through trial and error, but would like to save some time and my thumbs! Any help I would appreciate it. I can send picture of board if any of you are not familiar with it. Yes I did send an email to the company in Germany, no response.
