Arrow advice ! Long Draw Aluminum.

I saw the latest internet carbon arrow injury picture. I want to change to aluminum. I guess I must not be smart enough to interpret all the calculators. I shoot a Bushbow 55 @ 32". Currently I shoot GT 55/75's uncut with a 50gr brass insert and a 250 gr head. I want to change to aluminum without sacrificing a lot of head weight. I wouldn't mind losing the brass insert but I sure like the 250 gr VPA heads. What are you long draw guys shooting with a similar set up. Thank you

I like 2219 but then I also do not mind shooting arrows that weigh over 700 grains

Those injuries are the same old crap recirculated. Your a heck of a lot more likely to shoot yourself with your own bow than have a carbon injury....but if you just want to switch to aluminum that's a different story.
good luck, bigjim

Thanks Guys. I have to give them a try. I used to shoot aluminum with my old Oneida, 2613's. They looked like fence posts.
