Hello Trad gang my son just moved to Nashville TN. He enjoys archery any archery clubs or ranges you can suggest please. He enjoys bow hunting and musky fishing, any help you can share on where to do this would be very helpful as well, thanks Jerry.

One 'to do' would be to contact the gentlemen at Twin Oaks Bowhunters.
Twin Oaks - One of the finest Traditional clubs in the country.
Note: They have an excellent web site.

Another vote for Twin Oaks. It's a short drive north of Nashville. That's about the only club I know of around here...but Ive only been at the traditional game a few years and I do all my shooting in my yard or the woods behind the house.
If he is into turkey hunting there are endless possibilities. Most all of the land around the area lakes is public and open for hunting. Lots of lakes around and lots of public land birds to be had...even easier if he has a boat.
If he doesn't care to drive about an hour east of Nashville I'd be glad to take him deer hunting. I don't have any hunting buddies who hunt with a stick and string. We all started out with compounds and they have went to crossbows while I have moved to longbows. I can't put anybody (or myself for that matter) on huge bucks but I can put him on deer.
I'd be glad to help out any way I can.

Check out the "Shoots an Events" thread. Pappy has posted the info, directions included, for the Tenn Classic on there. They are at Twin Oaks every weekend building wood bows and shooting and eating.

Roadkill,
I think it's around Chapmansboro...a little south of Clarksville. I went to The Classic last year just to browse around and that's the only time I've ever been there. It was a great event though.

Ye Olde Fartes holds a monthly shoot near Crossville every month from now to August. You can read about the shoot they just had this past weekend at the bottom of the main page under the TN club heading.

Land between the Lake (LBL) and Fort Campbell are both bonus deer and will not count against his state tag. Very inexpensive primitive camping in LBL. Both within a couple of hours.
Musky he needs to head east or northeast 2-3 hrs.
