Centaurs arrive in the UK
« on: January 22, 2014, 05:05:00 PM »
Wow, that word kind of says it all.

It was a big gamble ordering the Centaurs without even seeing one in the flesh. We used this site to get idea's for a new bow each as I feel we are a little limited in choice over here. We would have gone for a Black Widow until Jamie spotted a tripple carbon on here then the research on the Centaurs began. I can't remember seeing a bad word written against one. All we read were fab reports of the bows and also of Jim.

They arrived safe and sound today, a January delivery just as Jim confirmed a year ago.

The bows are just beautiful. Jims attention to detail is bang on. They are sooo slim, light in weight, just like I had hoped for. I think the grip just did it for me. How Jim matches the handle you a hand tracing is amazing. I asked for deep finger grooves to & its just perfect.

Fired around 80 arrows just now and I'm really impressed with its "silent but deadiness" the draw is really smooth and doesn't feel like my normal poundage. It certainly turned a few heads at the archery range tonight anyway.

I really can't thank Jim enough. He's a top bloke to deal with and certainly delivered just what I'd asked for and more.

Congrats! It is always nice to see that there are more people from overseas that suffer from the same disease as I do  :)

It all started with ordering and importing just one bow years ago. Now I own three and am thinking about af fourth.... So be prepared!
It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that string! [/i]
Cari-bow Peregrine
Whippenstick Phoenix
Timberghost ordered
SBD strings on all, what else?

Bewildered why there aren't more Centaurs across the big pond. Centaurs may gallop across water.

Congrats!!!
