Here's a picture of my Sasquatch hanging in the tree in 2012.

Notice the little Bear compass. Kirk wasn't too keen on putting it in the bow but he is a top-notch customer pleaser. I had one put in a Silvertip as well. I have one more....it may go in a 1-piece this spring?

What is that bow MSbowhunter? It is a one-piece but I can't tell the bowyer/model-- They burl ash one.

Wow! Absolutely stunning, beautiful bows!

But I must say I'm really hating this thread. That's because last year at this time I ordered a new Blacktail recurve with myrtle limbs and a rosewood riser. I still have several more months wait time before I receive my bow. Until I saw this thread that bow has out of sight, out of mind. But now thanks to all this eye candy you guys have been posting here, I am definitely getting real excited about receiving my new bow - and all that anticipation is going to drive me to distraction!

Myrtle is probably my favorite veneer right now. Lots of character and lots of variations. These risers are zebra and bocote but myrtle also looks great with a dark riser wood like macassar or one of the other ebonys. Idaho Curt's got some awesome lams. Bet he's put his mark on on a lot of great looking bows.

I just used a set of Curts myrtlewood veneers to build a bow that is by far the neatest bow I have ever built. The wood he gets is the best. When you can actually buy it. Everytime I check he is sold out.
God bless, Steve
