I am a relatively new trad. shooter, I have a short 26 inch draw length, and do most of my practicing in my garage at a range of 8-10 yards. was considering getting a shorter bow for the time being, like a rebel recurve, I hear shorter bows are less forgiving, but at these ranges and with alot of practice I think I'll be able to compensate. My questions are 1) Are the smaller bows like the 52 inch ones more difficult to get strings for? Or should any proshop be able to hook me up? 2) is the draw wieght on the shorter bows, measured at 28 inches like standard bows, or is measured at a shorter length because of the diminuitive size? any help woould be great thanks,
