longing for the early season

I promise I will never complain about warm weather in the early season again!
My favorite time to hunt is the weeks prior to setting the clocks back.
This time of year though is rough , makes me have no interest in hunting.

Only a few days left Slickhead!!!
I really enjoy being in the woods the afternoon of the Superbowl. It's typically one of my favorite hunts every year.
I will admit I usually walk out pledging I will do better early season!

i feel the same way.
i made sure i practiced my tail off this year for early season, and it paid off with a doe and a turkey.
my buddy Dave and i are thinking about pulling up stakes on the deer and starting early on hogs, even though our season is still open for deer.
tough sledding right now (and we might actually have ice and slow to sled on this time tomorrow, haha!)
