Photobucket?
« on: January 27, 2014, 08:08:00 PM »
Is anyone else having issues with Photobucket?  I can not get the tabs that allow you to edit the photo or copy the link to use on a forum.  All I get is a small picture of my albums.

I tried photobucket and it was a pita. I found imgur.com
Start upload, choose device(method of photo retrieval), upload photo, choose bb code, copy all,  post in. Super easy.

Sorry, that doesn't really answer your question.

If you are talking about photobucket on your phone:

Touch the pic you want in your album and that will take you to that pic by itself.

Then touch the pic and it will show a menu on the bottom. Touch the little square icon with the arrow coming out if it.

Then touch the copy icon, and you will see the links to your pic.

Select the IMG link and you have your pic copied and ready to paste in Trad Gang or wherever.

(At least that is how it works on an Iphone)

I am using my computer.  The last time I used it I had no issues.  That was two weeks ago.

I just used my wife's Ipad and I was able to edit and do what ever I needed to do.  It is my laptop that is the issue I guess.

I just used Google Chrome and it worked.  It will not work with Explorer.  I hope this helps others that may be having issues.

Matthew, I just loaded about 20 pix from Kalamazoo Expo onto a Trad Events post a few minutes ago. I highlighted (left click) the IMG of each pic in photobucket, right clicked and selected copy. Then, I right clicked in the TG post box and selected paste. Worked just fine.

It doesn't take long at all to exceed the free bandwidth limit with a photobucket account if lots of people are looking at your pictures. Usually you'll get an email or some kind of notice telling you you've exceeded you're free limit but sometimes they just pull the plug and leave you to guess what happened. I'll bet if you upgraded do a paid account all your problems would magically disappear. That's what happened to me, the buggers...

Wow! What a fantastic shot. I managed to do that 3 times on a techno screen in our archery league last week.

As for the post, I have had no trouble at all, but I use Firefox for a browser. Haven't tried Explorer.
