I had a LH 21st century Nova Graphite, the one I wish I could get back...had the Jeff Massey finish on it! It was a neat bow...Maybe someday it will show up again....

Milan THANK YOU for posting those articles.  I will read them tomorrow when I have time.  

21st Century bows from J&B or Milton are shooters 100%.  Easy to hit the mark with them.  I miss the 70" Lonestar I had.

Bowfanatik, I don't have Jim's number but I got to shoot with him once and it was a great experience.  His knowledge of traditional bows and shooting is exceptional.  I enjoy shooting Hill style bows but I shoot my 21st Century bow better than any bow I have owned and I have owned many.  I really don't feel it is any faster than a lot of other bows but it seems to be more stable with the reverse taper limbs. Hope you end up getting one.

Bowfanatik, I have a Saturn that Jim and Buddy built and I have a 66" Edge and a 58" Venus that Milton built. I am very pleased with them. The Venus is a great little bow and is extremely quick and smooth.

The bow limbs on the old 21st Century bows were thicker on the tips of the limbs than next to the riser.

By reading the article it seems the cores on the limbs have the reverse taper  not the thickness of the limbs themselves.

So are the 21st Century Bows still produced but by different bowyers.

My Super Nova will stack them as tight as you can shoot. I get a lot of comments on the cast it has for a 45# bow.

Yes the core of the limb has the reverse taper which makes the tips thicker than next to the riser.  The 21st Century bows are still produced but by a different bowyer and he will still make the reverse taper bows if wanted.

Bowfanatik, after reading the reviews I took it upon myself to call Milton Callaway and talk to him myself before ordering a new 21st Century. I wanted a new one as my old Jim and Buddy Saturn has become one for the wall. I found him to be very knowledgeable and confident concerning his bows. I guess some would consider it arrogant but I have spoken with many bowyers who have the same attitude and it's called believing in thier product. I am in NO WAY trying to defend Milton as he is a grown man and can take care of himself. I am however suggesting that if you want a new 21st Century give him a call and tell him what you want and go from there. We spoke about the reverse taper limbs and he offered to build it if I wanted it. I've had him build me two bows that shoot just fine. In fact if you visit his facebook page you'll see where alot of tournaments are still being won with them.

I did not want to say anything bad about Milton. Just what I read in the review. My friend also making these bows. So I'm not interested, I just wanted to talk to Jim P. For me he is the icon of archery
