It's been a long winter already . Dreaming  of spring and Summer  shoots.   What's your favorite ?  Any pics.  I like the Baltimore shoot.

Whittingham and Denton Hill shoots are 2 of my favorites.
Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.

STAR in Roanoke, Va. and the Baltimore shoot in Md.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

Baltimore Bowman Classic is a big favorite here. I also love Cloverdale and KYTradFest.
The years accumulate on old friendships like tree rings, during which time a kind of unspoken care and loyalty accrue between men.

Michigan is blessed with many great shoots but the Michigan longbow association Great Lakes Longbow Invitational is by far the best in my opinion.   :archer:
