high FOC
« on: February 02, 2014, 06:54:00 PM »
I have read a Trad member post saying that he took a 600  spine arrow,, 60gr. brass insert and 145 point
this arrow with such mass in front won't it be impossible to tune or this hunter does not care about arrow flight

I am new at Trad and would like to go to bed smarter tonight
so could you explain please

high foc setups are harder to tune but not impossible. depending on the bow, but it may not be impossible to tune.

I do not find high foc harder to tune since I have had lots of practice with it.

As long as he gets his dynamic spine correct arrow flight will be great, in fact the higher the foc the less fletch you need to stabilize same arrow.
shoot straight shoot often
