Black Widow PTF V
« on: February 05, 2014, 12:47:00 PM »
I have a few bows that are sitting on the shelf not being used, and I am trying to decide which bows to let out of the corral..

Taking into account a bunch of factors, including market value, my mint condition Black Widow PTF V is near the top of the list of bows to put on the classifieds here, but I am unsure what fair market value is.

What are your thoughts? What is a good asking price for a mint PTF V?

Bow market is up and down even with nice quality bows.I just sold my excellent shape BW SAX Bacote for $625,I would say anywhere from $600 to $675 maybe more or maybe less? Alot can depend on draw weight, length, year it was made and if someone really wants and is looking for one with those spec's of the bow.BW does have a better resale value them some other bows.

Looks like the specs are great, in my opinion. Good bows usually hold a good bit of there value, but here lately I have seen some great bows sell for way less than I thought they were worth. It seems here lately it is a buyers market for most anything. I bet it will sell for you, they seem to be a very popular model. Good Luck!!!

The bows I have seen lately are selling pretty cheap.  I'd say it's definitely a buyer's market.

Yes, should be easy to find a buyer at that weight.

That is in a excellent weight range in my opinion.I bought a used PLX T/D last year for $625.Sold a PLX Bacote one piece last year for $575 and the guy picked it up so I had no shipping.Sometimes like said it's the market and sometimes different times of the year.I think BW are well made and excellent bow.
