First Beavertail grip was a success!
« on: February 15, 2014, 09:30:00 PM »
Hey guys I finished up my first beavertail grip on my new to me caribow wolverine I picked up at Kalamazoo. My lovely significant other provided the beavertail leather as a valentines present and agreed to take pictures of the bow after I finished the grip. Luckily I didn't have any difficulty at all. I soaked the skin in water for 15 minutes, than wrapped it on the grip and let it dry over night. This morning I glued, trimmed, and laced it up. I am very happy with how it turned out, especially for my first time.

To go with the bow I made some new 3D arrows for this year. Onestringer wraps with true flight feathers. Hopefully they will be easy to find when I wiff a shot at the 3D shoots haha. Enjoy SS
