I've hunted this unit before. Just wondering if anybody else from TG has hunted it. I am going back this year again. It's been several years.

Keith, I hunted it about 20 years ago. Hope to make it back someday. It's a draw unit, but I understand you can draw with zero pref. points.
Other than that, I don't have much to offer.

Keith, I've hunted it a couple of times, was last thier in 2010 it's a draw area now. It's some rough country but always got into elk. There are some good mulies too, and seen a fair amount of sheep the last trip. We hunted on the west side of the castles. Shot a nice bull on the last trip was sure glad we had someone to pack it out
for us.

Its been a few years...2008...since I hunted it. We did see some elk and some deer. If you hunted behind camp down in the aspens you saw both. Across from camp in the Dark Timber we only saw Elk.
Looking to take some newbees elk hunting. Great place for their first elk trip. They will owe me big time:) And curse me for getting them addicted.
