I got a half dozen from Byron a couple months ago. They are very high quality shafts with good Grains per inch. I like the darker color of the heavy hunter over the standard gold tip traditional. The only con I can really see is the price, but you don't have to worry about breaking one, they are tough as nails.

Great shafts, just make it difficult to put the weight out front. They are so heavy that adding weight to the front will make them extremely heavy.
The big advantage to carbon shafts is the ability to add weight to the front to get the total weight you need without making them too heavy.
This forward weight will help the shafts to fly much better.

a friend and myself tried them ..
.. ok they're heavy , good looking ..
but for solidity that's not that at all . a bad shot on a tree 15/18 yard it split , same thing for my friend ,
we liked the fact they where heavy .. but we change for some other brand ..

As BigJim said...a standard carbon with a heavy tip gets you the same weight plus weight forward...and I have found it makes for the best flying arrow I have EVER used!
Mid weight bows are EASY to get 10 to 12 GPP of arrow with say a standard Gold Tip Trad and a heavy tip.
Heavier draw weights may require a heavy tip AND a brass insert.

I've got two friends who shoot them, and love them. But they break just as easy as any other carbon shaft.I've tried them, did not like them.
