Wing quiver inserts?
« on: February 25, 2014, 12:15:00 PM »
What size bolt does the older Wing quiver inserts take? I'm talking about the ones in the front of the riser. I've heard 1/4 - 28, but I don't know. Haven't been able to find a bolt that size to try. I know they're not 1/4 - 20. Please help!! Thank you.

I used to have one but can't remember that far back. Take it to a nut & bolt store. They could tell ya. Try the History/Collector forum.
It's really simple. Just don't take those borderline shots. Tomorrow is another day.

1/4-28 is the thread size for the old wing quiver mounting. You should be able to find them at a hardware store or home depot. That is the SAE fine thread standard for a 1/4 inch screw or bolt.
