"Wearin' Our Wool" Gathering
« on: February 27, 2014, 09:27:00 AM »
Hey all, I was just talking to Teresa Asbell about the Pre-Spring Arrow Fling.  She told me about this "Wearin' Our Wool" gathering and group picture they took.  They got a group of folks together to take a picture of all of them wearing Asbell wool.  She sent me a couple pictures so I thought I would share them here.  Oh, and there was a drawing for a prize package as well.  I don't know the name of the winner, but I am posting that picture too.  I think Teresa intends to keep doing this, and having give-aways.  Sounds like fun to me.  I always have my Asbell wool with me anyway - I would like to get in on one of these events.  Enjoy!  Todd     :shaka:

This is a good promotion of a good product. Teresa does an excellent job of putting these garments together. I bought one two years ago and wear it almost daily. It's my go to jacket whether it be hunting or just going across the yard to the shop. I had meant to get another one this year but my size and pattern were gone before I could get there.

Heard temps weren't bad this year. Last year we needed all the Asbell wool we could find. Nice pictures.

I wasn't there, but I've got two of Teresa's jackets & I love them.

My Wife got me one of her jackets & one of her wool scarves for Christmas & I've been wearing it almost every day since. I love it & it's not scratchy around my neck at all.

When My Filson wool vest wears out I'm going to try one of her vests too. I'm pretty fond of Teresa's wool clothing.

No I'm not on the payroll.

I have met G.Fred & Teresa at the Trad Expo West & they are fine folks.

I know Rustic...  We are expecting another 3-6 here.

Oh well, I am getting pretty good at shoveling snow.  I do wear my zippered Cedar Swamp jacket often when shoveling.  Just the right amount of warm.

Looks like a forest full of plaid trees..

I'm always teasing Teresa, saying "I've never seen a plaid tree"...   :biglaugh:

Great picture. Good to see you "WarDancer". Look forward to visiting with you at the Texas State Longbow shoot in Ft, Worth over Memorial Day weekend. Rumor has it that "okla bearclaw" will have the "Nocking Point" trailer fully loaded and on site in Ft. Worth that weekend. Will be a little warm for wool that time of year in Texas, but a great time to buy to beat the last minute rush. Fall/Winter will be here before you know it.
