2007 Cohutta Outing
« on: September 18, 2007, 02:32:00 PM »
Just a note for the guys in TBG. This was the first outing that I've been able to make in the past 3 years. I've been busy raising a little one who is now at an age to where I felt I could get hime out. After this weekend, I remember why I always enjoyed TBG. There are a list of people that I would like to thank. Joe, and John for sharing thier tents with Aaron. Dan, Tim, and Bill for making Aaron welcome in thier camp. Bill, Thanks for helping me break camp and seeing us off of the mountain. I was pretty sure that Aaron would have fun, but I wasn't sure how everyone would take to a 2 year old running around camp.Being that this was his first camping trip, I wanted to see to it that it was a special time for him. You guys made it a special time for both of us.I look forward to the next hunt. Joe, you may want to bring an extra jar of pickled okra next time.

Hey Terry, I didn't mean to leave you out.It just amazed me how everyone there took atleast a moment to bring a smile to his face. I hope that I haven't left anyone out. You guys are GREAT!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry I missed it AGAIN, I hoped to get an elk early and make it back in time, but I just couldn't shoot a cow with the bulls bugleing!

Lanny, that's one special lil feller you got. Any time you need someone to look after him, you be sure to call me. I'll bring all the pickled okra my lil buddy can eat!

Tip of my hat to you for sacrificing your hunting time bringing him along with you. I know it's a lot of work, but I'm sure it will pay off. Hope to see you both at more hunts in the future.
