The Nocking Point

I know others have done the same..but wanted to give a quick shout-out to Terry and Sheila Lightle at the Nocking Point in Sand Springs, OK. They are great people! Went there this evening and bought over 80.00 worth of stuff. They really have great prices and just about anything you can imagine for traditional archery. It was a lot of fun..and hearing about his 2013 moose hunt to New Foundland was pretty cool too!

I placed my first order with The Nocking Point a few weeks back. Terry and Sheila were great to deal with, pleasant to talk to, and their prices were some of the lowest I was able to find. Add their honest shipping prices to the already great mix and you have an unbeatable combination. I will be ordering from them again!

Joe,
Glad you got to get up there and meet with Terry & Sheila. What'd I tell ya? Aren't they some of the most friendly folks you could hope to meet?!?!
I'm looking forward to seeing them again in a couple of weeks at OJAM and again next month at the Asbell shooting camp.
You should come check out OJAM if you get a chance. Especially if you haven't been before. It's loads of fun!

I will definitely be checking them out. Heard nothing but good things if they've continued the shipping rates of the previous owners.

Tony,
You were right. Glad I finally got up there. And...I hope to get to OJAM. Because my son plays competitive baseball, I have never been able to get to any of the shoots in the spring or summer. But, this year I am going to make it to something, God willing! In fact, I hear OJAM calling...

I realize I've been out of the tad archery scene fora couple years but I thought the nocking point was owned by Mike Horton in Winchester Kansas.
Did it change hands or is this another place with the same name?

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.

Yeah, Dave, Terry & Sheila bought it from the Horton family last year. They are wonderful people. I never dealt with the Horton family when they owned it, but I heard nothing but good things. Terry & Sheila are working hard to keep the good reputation going, and are doing a fine job of it!
