Rick Welch Dakota pro hunter

The recurve I shot since 2009 is a 62 inch 46 @29.  I occasionally would shoot my A&H three piece.
I know the feel of my recurve very well. Today, I received a used pro hunter 64 inch 55lb @ 29.5    I strung it up with an original Rick string and the brace height was 8.25 which is the same as my 62 inch.  The weight difference should be about 8-9 lbs. It has finger grooves like mine.  When I pull it back, I cannot tell any real difference in poundage. I can hold it just like my 62 inch.  It is not what I expected.    Tim in NC

The serial numbers are close between the two bows. I think one will be my Elk bow and one will be my Whitetail bow. I never thought I would be going up in weight.

If you want to sell the 64" I will take it. I have one with 45 & 50 lb limbs I just picked up used. I called Rick and he told me for the 64" to set the bh between 8 1/2 & 9 with 8 3/4 probably the sweet spot. the 62" takes 8 & 8 1/2. They are shooting machines
