Arrow suggestions for my new Toelke Whip???

I have a new whip ordered and it should be here around the end of the month. It'll be 49#@26"(my draw length).  I have some GT Expedition Hunters as well as some GT Trad Hunter blems from BigJim.  Both are 3555's.  I also have both 50 & 100 gr. brass inserts available.  I'd like to use 125 gr BH's and field tips.  I'm not sure what the center cut on the Whip is.  I'd appreciate any input on a good arrow set up to get me close.

I think you have the correct arrows. I use the 100 grain insert with mine and my setup is similar to yours. See my specs in my signature below.

The cool thing about the GT inserts is you can get weights to screw into the back of them, so you should be able to tune to shoot almost any broadhead out of them and still get the necessary weight for good arrow flight.

3355 will be too stiff unless cut LONG. Try CE 90's with 50 grain inserts or a similar spine in arrow shaft brands you prefer.. Start at 29" and tune by cutting back no more 1/4" at a time. I love the Heritage shaft for its weight and toughness. The old Beman MFX Classics was another favorite.

Solobowhunter,  congratulations on your new Whip.  Dan sure makes a great bow!  You will be well pleased.  I've had mine for 3 years now and it is my favorite possession.  Mine is 50# at 28 and I draw 26.5.  What works for me are the beman 600s (no longer made) and the GT blems in 1535.  I shoot them full length with 200 grains up front (the 600s have 75gr inserts plus 125 grain head).  I have heard good things about the heritage shafts and if the 90 is too stiff they make a 75 I believe.  I started out with beman 500s but they were too stiff.  Good luck and let us know what you find to work.  John

Thanks Wapiti for the idea on the CE's.  I have thought about trying some and a new bow may be the perfect excuse!
