selfbows and draw length
« on: March 15, 2014, 11:28:00 AM »
i have been making selfbow for awhile and i just discovered that my draw might not be right...SO,when checking my draw for a selfbow..would it be correct to measure from behind the nock out..i was measuring the full length of the shaft..my draw was 25" and now if i measure behind the nock its 22"...i seen this on a video made by ryan gill and if this correct then my bows are lighter that i thought...thanks john

I always measure the bow's true drawn length; from the throat of arrow nock to the back of bow.
