Don't know of any trad only shops but there's  a ton of bow shops about an hour away in hunstville. Also a gander mountain and bass pro for what it's worth.

Custom Archery Center in Huntsville. Not totally Trad otherwise he would be out of Business. He can get you what you need though.

PM me if interested as I have enough Trad stuff to start a shop. Hit and miss with my pile though. LOL
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways-BOW in one hand-ARROWS in the other-Body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming-WOO HOO! WHAT A RIDE!

Just warn him away from the archery store in Jasper, they believe trad archery is a joke and will actively try to convert him to compound, or more likely crossbow.  There's pretty much nothing available there, to boot.

I'm in NE MS.  Probably a good hour or two from Muscle Shoals, but I'll be glad to help if I can.

Uh-OH, Eric the Osage self-bow-master has offered his help and advice. Send him to Eric...great guy/teacher.

Eric, if he wants to shoot something you don't have (carbons, or extra point wts, etc.), let me know and I'll bring you what I have for him to try.
