Mexican Mora Tenbrook Longbow

Correct if I'm wrong but I have never seen this wood used in a bow before?

It's the densest/hardest/heaviest wood I have ever used. Anyone who likes to shoot a bow with some mass weight needs to consider it!

-62" 70#@28"
-Mexican Mora Riser
-Mexican Mora Back & Black Fiberglass Belly -Bamboo Core
-Antler Tips

Enjoy!

Very nice!  I've never heard of that wood before.  You did a great job with it - stunning!

Looks a bit like osage........do you know if it darkens with sunlight and age?

Mexican or Suriname or Guyana Mora is not the same as the Guatemalan wood also known as Mora or Argentine Osage -  Maclura tinctoria.

Mexican Mora - Mora excelsa - is truly what Tenbrook has here.   Janka  Hardness is 2300, about the same as Bocote or Honduran Rosewood.

KenH nailed it.  "Argentine" osage.  The only maker I have seen use it so far other than Cody now is Dan at Toelke.
