I've got a '53 Grizzly that I enjoy shooting. I plan to take it out hunting next year or so. Also have some late 50's Pearson's that need to be hunted with.
Here's my '64 Grizzly, unusual zebrawood.

My oldies get at least one walk a year in the fall. Includes Bears and Brownings, all have been killers at least once since I've owned them. Just a good feeling out walking with bows almost as old as I am. May be slower now but still have the desire to get out there.

1962 Bear Polar with Zebrawood. The old Bear's are great shooters! Last night my daughters and I were out shooting a 1955 Kodiak and a 1959 Kodiak. I haven't put silencers on the '55 and '59 yet. The '55 is extremely quiet even without silencers. The 59 spits an arrow out like nobody's business. One is 34#'s and the other is 35#'s. The Bear Polar with the Zebrawood is 66" and 37#'s and will hit the range shortly. I'm excited to try that as well, even though it's a 1962 and I was born in 1961.

Happy BD to you Long Stick 64!! I had a similar bow which I gave to one of my wife's relatives as a gift around 8 or 9 years ago. I don't know how much or if he even shoots it anymore. It sure is a pretty bow! Enjoy it a lot. Caranthir

Happy Birthday.
That's a nice present. The old Grizzlys still perform, I took a Grouse with a '70 model last season.

You got it....tons of value for the buck. Nothing like shooting a vintage "real deal" bow. Nice...
