I don't need binoculars. I am a traditional archer. I know all kills are at the normal place, so I focus on that spot.
As for rangefinders; I am a traditional archer. So knowing the distance wouldn't change a bit. I just aim and release.
I think binoculars or rangefinders don't belong on a3d shoot, they slow things down indeed.
As for people who cheat during a 3d shoot: I hate them. Alas, more and more archers tend to cheat. They kill our sport!
