Black Widow Stick-tite Super Glove

I ordered a new glove a few days ago.  Before, all i had shot was a damascus style glove.  I liked them a lot for the fact that I could feel my string very well. I could tell if I had a good release.  I could also tell if it was freezing cold on a shot   .  I also like how you never have to adjust the glove from sliding down on your finger tips.  

I wanted to try something that had the nylon(i'm assuming that is what it is) on the finger tips. I stumbled upon the black widow stick-tite super glove and thought I'd give it a try.  

First thing i notice is how the seams are on the back of the glove(very nice).  Next thing i notice is the glove is thick.  To be honest, at first i thought it was too thick.  I put it on, it was tight! After a little shooting, i got adjusted though.  Another weird aspect is that the nylon strap is not sewed on except at the top and the bottom, I  expected it to be sewed on the full length.  At first I thought this would be a bad thing, but it doesn't seem to have any affect that I notice while shooting.  The Glove also goes up to the  my second knuckle on each finger, which felt weird at first, but after a few shots I like it.  

Now when I took my first shots with it, I noticed that i could not feel the string, and honestly, I was a little concerned about this because I had no idea if the string was sliding on my fingers, etc.  But but everything was hitting exactly where i was looking, so I can't really complain.

Overall, i like the glove a lot.  It is tight, doesn't move at all when shooting, hits where I look, and the best of all, my fingers don't get sore at all.

Has anyone else used this glove?  How did you like it?

Yup.  Love it.  I also switched from Damascus.  In time, along with some conditioner, the leather softens up quite nicely so I still get a good feel (for me at least).  Also, I cut the finger stalls down so it did fit my fingers better.  

This is a GREAT (and affordable) piece of equipment.  I have been very impressed.

Been shooting one for the last couple months but prefer my Damascus style. Seems like your need to always adjust the finger stalls to keep them straight. And sometimes at full draw the glove starts to slip off my fingers. And I prefer a wrist strap that goes straight across the wrist not angled forward. Good material just a few things I don't like

Turkeyfoot- Interesting. . .  guess that is why there are many products out there.  The glove pulls tight onto my fingers with ZERO slippage.  The strap design actually pulls it tight.  Why they call it "Stick-Tight."

I have switched over to a tab now, but I do have one. It is a quality made glove. And I have no complaints about it at all...it is exactly as described.

It actually taught me something about my shooting...I HAVE to feel the string to get a clean release. I know this isn't the case for alot of people but it is for me. I missed my 3x3 bale on my first two shots with it. I did improve some but it never came together for me. I ended up cutting the nylon strips off the glove (basically making it the standard version of Black Widow's glove) and I liked it much better.

It's a very well made glove though. I would recommend it to anybody in the market for that "style" glove.

Yep that's why there's so many good gloves to choose from. I know lots of people who love it. I'll keep shooting it til I find a new one!

with the cordura nylon overlays, it's the only glove I can and will shoot

I shot it again yesterday and noticed that i can feel the string, its just not like holding it with bare fingers like the damascus was(not knocking the damascus, i really like my damascus).  I just think  I like the extra protection more.  I know on days when it is cold, I will appreciate the extra protection a lot more.

The reason I've always shot Damascus and similar style gloves is that with traditional gloves I cant keep the finger stalls (or cots) from getting loose and even coming off my fingers. The Black Widow Stick-tite glove solved that problem by the unique way the finger stalls are attached to the glove. They really do "stick tight" to my fingers.

Although I'm a diehard SuperGlove fan I gotta say I would like to give that one a try. How far do the stalls extend past the first crease/finger pad?

I bought one a while ago, and really like it --- at some point I guess I'll need to buy a spare and store it way ``just in case'' --- also want to get a matching quiver as well. Wish there was an option to forego the Black Widow logo though.

On me, they basically come up to my middle knuckle.  It is different.  It makes me bend my fingers on the middle knuckle more, but after shooting it once, i think i got the hand of it.  lol.  I honestly don't notice any difference in performance, release, etc.  It is just less pressure on my fingers than with the thinner damascus.
