Carbon Injexions
« on: April 17, 2014, 09:51:00 PM »
Is anyone shooting Easton Carbon Injexions? With the bow I just sold, I shot beman classics 600s, 17/64 diameter. They are very fast arrows. My new bow needs 400 spine and I am considering Axis arrows. But the Injexions caught my eye and I wonder if they are good arrows, particularly for traditional recurve off the shelf.

Any insight appreciated.

I shoot Easton Injexion 400 out of my Dryad ACS RC.The only problem with Injexion is that a 100 gr. point or broadhead is all they make for them.Because they use their Deep Six componets with a 6/40 thread on inserts and points instead of the standard 8/32 thread. What I did on mine was the switch inserts to Victory VAP out outserts.Easton Injexion and Victory VAP have the same inside diameter of .166.With the VAP outserts I can use 5/16" points with the standard 8/32 threads. They are a solid arrow,I get deep penetration on foam 3D targets with my setup.I also have some Victory VAP 400 but favor my Injexion a bit more because they have a higher GPI then the VAP.Easton Injexion 400 have a 8.9 GPI compared to my Victory VAP 400 at 7.1 GPI.Injexion are great arrows but you are limited to 100 gr. points with their Deep Six componets unless you change to inserts to VAP outserts which will allow to use larger and heavier points.

Abowyer slipped out a deep six glue on adapter that makes injexions a very desirable option.
