The Range is re-worked
« on: April 18, 2014, 07:12:00 PM »
A sure sign that winter is over, range do-over.

Here is the newly re-worked range.

I am excited about how well my new homemade target butt filled with raw sheeps wool works. It stops arrows perfectly and holds the arrow just as it supposed to.

Looking good!  That green grass looks good, too.  The last of our snow just melted.

I had a neighbor come over with his wheeled high poundage bow and shoot the homemade butt today.

I think both of us were impressed with how well it stopped the arrow.

I already knew what pulling was going to be like but he didn't...lol

If I didn't already know the trouble I get in I'd post a video I made of his reaction...lol

He was totally shocked with the ease it released the arrow. Thumb and forefinger removal.

Nice new target... I am glad the weather is allowing you to get out. Where did you get the raw wool?

A lady just outside ashland had last years shearing that because of medical issues with her husband never had opportunity to market them.

I picked them up for the cost of the shearing.
