I just can't believe how fast they build their bows. I put my order in two weeks ago and my bow is already glued up and being tillered. They said this is their busy season too! That is crazy fast for the quality of work they do.

I have owned a Whip,Super Static and a Chinook. The Chinook is the best recurve I've ever owned and I've owned a boatload of them.I agree with the others about the looks of the Lynx but I just know it's a shooter! been trying to Trade my Fox Breed for a Kestrel.Just have to try one!  :)

I really like those Toelkes also , have a T/D Whip and a TD Super D .  Dan is a great guy to work with also. You just really can't go wrong with these bows or the bowyer.
Well that is unless someone sells you one used with a modified grip without informing you, but that is a story for another day.

You're right about that. I'm down to two at the moment. No plans for more than that. If one comes in, one is going out  :)

I for one think the Lynx is awesome.  I just got ahold of Paul_R's combo in a trade so I could test drive it.  It's a Whip with MASS baby!!  The 58" recurve limbs rock too.  Crazy fast.  I don't understand how anyone could call the Lynx setup as a longbow funky or ugly.  I feel it has some of best lines of any 3pc longbow out there.

I have one more model left to try- a Chinook.  Then I will have completed the Toelke tradslam hahahaha  :)

I wasn't in the market, but ended up with one anyway. I went to check the inventory out when I saw this thread, and liked the 66" with the quiver inserts. I called and he was actually on the way to mail that one out. We got to talking and he said in six to eight weeks he could have me one just like it,so I ordered one just like it,except in 64" Well there goes eight hundred dollars, but from what everyone says I think I will like it a lot!

Yes!!! You will love it. The 64" Whip is one of the best dang bows I've ever shot.

I'm ready for your Chinook review. I think you'll really enjoy it. I loved the few I had, I'm just a longbow guy at heart. I'm not the greatest shot, but the Chinook was easy to aim, quick, quiet, and vibration free. The shorter length (compared to a longbow) made it very handy in the woods also.

I bought a used Chinook about three months ago here. I'm really impressed with the bow every time I shoot it. It is stable, quiet and fast. The myrtle limbs and bocote riser is awesome and I can't pick out any flaws. The Toelkes really do have a good thing going.

I heard all the good words on Toelkes. I called Dan the other day and he was very helpful so.....I ended up ordering a 64" Whip. Dan helped choose the woods based on my likes and am looking forward to June when she comes!  Going with Coco and black glass accents on she handle and myrtle limbs. Dan said he'd find a "smokin" set odd veneers.
