I couldn't say it any better than this, but I will add to make sure you do your Physical Therapy afterwards! I had to have some hardware added to one of my ankles a couple of years ago (due to some over celebation of my birthday

) and opted to not do any PT

. It STILL isn't right and may never be.

Though I'm sure you're much smarter than I, I thought I'd throw that little nugget of wisdom your way, just in case.

Back home and resting .... operation went very well but a little longer than expected. The ankle had so many bone spurs it was almost fused together. I also needed to have my achilles tendon lengthened so my ankle would come up past 90*
