Which Safari Tuff quiver?
« on: May 08, 2014, 10:48:00 AM »
I think I would like to try some type of side/back quiver. Of the 3 Safari Tuff models (Arrowmaster, Duiker, and Duiker Deluxe) , which model are you guys liking the most? I also came across another made by Primal Gear Unlimited, anyone have experience with it? It seems to have a lot of carry options, but it is far from being very traditional.  http://www.goprimalnow.com/Primal_Revolution_Tactical_Quiver_p/revtqu.htm.
Thanks

All the ST models are well-made and have their plus sides.

I have the Arrowmaster and the Duiker, but if only one, then the Duiker.  The AM is a bit bigger with a pouch, but I like the compactness of the Duiker and can still carry 5-6 arrows.

All these models go well with a backpack or fanny pack or small shoulder bag.

Do a search and read lots more reviews.

I only have the Arrowmaster, but I like the convenience of the carrying capacity, both arrows and stuff like sharpening tools, small camera, small tripod, knife, extra string, etc. I keep trying other quivers, and keep returning to the Arrowmaster.

I love the Arrowmaster, my brother has one.  I ended up getting a Bowmate Elite and its pretty sweet too.  Both slightly different and very effective.

I like the Arrowmaster for the capacity and the ability to carry other stuff in the pocket.

I carry a granola bar, extra glove, file, extra string and stringer and sometimes a bottle of water in my pocket so the Arrowmaster is it for me.

I think I may be a hoarder....

I like the Arrowmaster, because I can fit 18+ field points in it.

I may try a Dukier if I find one in the classifieds for the right price.

I carried the Bow mate a couple seasons and my buddy has the Safari Tuff. Both work well.

That said I'm getting ready to order my second Dawgware. I'm telling my wife its for her.   :D

A friend gave me one made by Dawgware this past fall and I really like it.  I have tried the Sufari Tuff models and they are nice also but if I was buying I would stick with what I have.

Have had the arrow master for years.  Love it.   BUT spend the extra and get the arrow shield as well.  I had the AM for a time, then bought the cover.  It made a great quiver amazingly better.

In fact, as I poke around and look at other similar quivers...just because...I am never tempted to try one as I have not seen a similar feature.  It is that much better with it.

Also, I second the use of the Arrow Shield with this quiver if you are going to get it... I was turkey hunting three weeks ago and got caught in a driving downpour with my quiver and did  not have the shield.  I took lots of water in and around the broad heads which are given to rust VERY quickly.

I will be purchasing the shield soon.
