nocks on aluminum ?
« on: September 21, 2007, 03:34:00 PM »
Has anyone had nocks start to close after putting them on your arrow. I bought some new bohning classics and put them on some aluminums. Shot them for a day and put them up for a few days. checked them this am and they are all tight on the serving but the ones in the bag still fit good.they are 11/32. Do I need to use 5/16 on 2018 or is fitting over the shoulder O.K.? Thanks

I would make sure that I used Fletch-tite on the nocks, and I would use the 5/16 on the 2018. The lip over the shoulder may snag on your rest material. Hap

thanks guys. I figured I might have used the wrong size and if they slid up a little after shooting that would have closed the nock just enough to stick a little.

Hap ,I am using the platinum on my nocks..I am surprised that it gave.
