Wonder if anyone has hunted zone 10 Arizona for Elk. Any story or info you can share. Just like to hear about  it. Thanks.

10 used to be a great tag to have.  Still has a great population of elk and some really big bulls.  The issue is that 10 is checkerboarded with a lot of private ranches that do not allow you to hunt without paying an extremely hefty trespass fee/trophy fee and some require you to use a particular outfitter that charges a butt load for the hunt.  You can still get it done though. It's not as mountainous as the neighboring unit 8.  If you plan on hunting it, I would get some scouting time in.  I have a couple buddies that have a 10 tag this year and one that regularly guides in it. Let me know if you have any more questions.
