TURKEY "UNDER GLASS"
«

I got my first traditional archery big game kill this year, a really nice gobbler that my son Matt called in for me. I've killed a lot of turkeys, but this was the first with a recurve, and I didn't just want to throw the beard and spurs in a box with all the rest. Soooo, I got a really nice quarter sawn osage display case from Trad Gang's own 4runr, Kenny Yoder. You can see some of his cases in the Sponsor's Classifieds. The workmanship is flawless and the Osage is just beautiful. All in all, a really nice resting place for the memories of a beautiful spring morning spent with my son in persuit of my favorite game.
Thanks Kenny, for the beautiful case. I'll be ordering another one very soon.
The wing bone call was a gift to me from Bernie in honor of my Dad.
What yall think?

awesome! I always feel elated when I get a turkey with a shotgun. To get one with a bow, a traditional bow even, is huge. What a fitting way to commemorate the occasion. congrats.

Thanks for your comments guys and gals. I'm ordering another larger case for small treasures collected by my son and me during our past hunts together. Beards, spurs, teeth, jaw bone or two,
old arrow heads, etc., etc. Should be interesting.
