getting old

Going up to bear bait today I could hardly keep up with my buddys 15 year old (Parker)and he had the load.   :rolleyes:

Getting old?  Nope...not me.....I'm there already but I never plan to act my age...lol

The body will act the way the body acts but mentally I will not succumb to the "old folks" way of thinking.

I agree,but when I'm sucking air and he ain't even breathing hard it gets your attention.
      But on the plus side,I kept up real well going back down   :goldtooth:

I learned the same lessen last year hauling bait for my nephew! I didn't notice how slow I had become until I had a young buck walking me into the dirt!

I'm 56 and am just now noticing my limitations. It makes me mad that I can't do what I could 10 years ago. But I wouldn't change the wisdom I have gained for more youthfulness. Work smarter not harder.

I was lucky today and had a 16 year old helping me pick up targets today after the shoot or rather I was helping him. 54 years between us makes a difference but I tried to handle my half of the load.

Going to celebrate my 64 years June 19th. with Tom Phillips this year at Bear Quest.Have been 3-time so far.I need some R&R big time at this time of the year from my job.Kip
