Coming together
« on: May 27, 2014, 08:28:00 PM »
After shooting 75-150 arrows a day since the first week of april I feel like I can comfortably shoot 30yrd and hit what I am aiming at. And this site helped a lot  :notworthy:

Great!!! I haven't been on long myself either. Remember it's better to shoot 20 perfect arrows then 75 so so shots...

When I used to shoot a lot, 32 yds was my magic distance....

I can relate after 18yrs of shooting "My Way" and being closed minded. I finally started asking for help. (Rod Jenkins) and others. So for the first time I am enjoying shooting at 30-40yrds. Before I wouldn't even practice at that range.

Me too. Took the clicker off last week and now come to a full anchor consistently. For me shooting long distance to get over the fear of missing and stump shooting seem to help my issues with target panic. The clicker and mantra to keep pulling to anchor  really was the key. Working with Joel Turner helped my shooting as well.
