Browning Mohawk Brace Height?
« on: June 01, 2014, 09:11:00 PM »
Hi all, working on a project for my daughter, Olivia.  Said bow is a 54" 25# Browning Mohawk.  I need to order a fancy schmancy string (naturally) but I'm not real sure what the BH on this bow would be.  Any ideas?  Thank you

start at about 7" and tune............ every bow/arrow/shooter setup has a different "perfect" braceheight. All recomended BHs are just starting points for tuning. With ANY new bow I start somewhere between 7 and 8 and go from there. BH is not like setting valve timing on an engine, too may variables. With young shooters and target arrows you only need to tune for good visable fight, not as criticle as with broadheads.......YMMV
Bowhunting is "KILL and EAT" not "Catch and Release".....Semper Fi!
