Need help to ID artifact

I find artifacts in my field every year. This one was found several years ago and no one has been able to ID it or tell us what it was used for.

One person that looked at it said the rock was very high in iron.

I thought that at first. But I can not find any others that look close to it.

Iron Ore war club. When I was a kid in Missouri I saw several that were very similar to that one but usually had a groove that was used for split shaft hafting. The interesting thing about this one is the hammer end. That makes it different than the ones I saw in that they had either sharpened or rounded tops. This one could be used to pound tent stakes or to stake hides down or, Perhaps to knock an enemy out instead of killing him.
God bless, Steve

It is definitely unique Steve. No one has ever found one like it in my area.

I had a similar one I found in Michigan as a boy. I made a handle for it and played with it. Somewhere along my younger brothers lost it. I believe it is called a celt.

Could just be an indian sex stone.
Having said that I don't see how this is bowhunting related so I'm closing it.
